Changing your Certorix password

You can change your password at any time from your account settings.

Steps to change password

  1. Click your avatar in the top‑right corner of any page.
  2. Select Account settings from the dropdown menu.
  3. Click the Change password tab.
  4. Enter your current password.
  5. Enter your new password (see password requirements below).
  6. Confirm your new password by typing it again.
  7. Click Update password.

Password requirements

  • Minimum length: 8 characters
  • Maximum length: 72 characters
  • Must contain at least one uppercase letter (A‑Z)
  • Must contain at least one lowercase letter (a‑z)
  • Must contain at least one number (0‑9)
  • Must contain at least one special character (e.g., ! @ # $ % ^ & * ( ) - _ = + [ ] { } ; : , . ? /)

What happens after changing password

  • You are logged out of all devices (including mobile and other browsers).
  • You will need to log in again with your new password.
  • API tokens and MCP tokens are not invalidated. If you want to revoke existing tokens, regenerate them from the MCP/API page.
  • Team members' passwords are unaffected.

Forgot password

If you forgot your password, click Forgot password? on the login page. You will receive a password reset email. Reset links expire after 1 hour.
