AI Assistant (internal)

The AI Assistant page (/ai-assistant) is an internal preview of exactly the same AI your customers see in the widget. Use it to test how the AI responds before going live.

What the AI uses as context

  • Published diagnostic trees – Yes
  • VNT-certified facts – Yes (cites these as sources)
  • Draft facts – No
  • Unpublished trees – No
  • Freshdesk articles (imported + certified) – Yes

Using the AI Assistant

  • Type in the chat input and press Enter. Shift+Enter adds a new line.
  • Each AI response includes source badges below the message — click to open the original KB article.
  • Click 'Reset chat' to clear the conversation.
  • Suggested questions in the right panel – click any to send it immediately.
