Publish and unpublish a tree

Publish & unpublish

A tree must be published before customers can access it via the widget or a direct link.

To publish a tree

1. Finish and validate – ensure every Question node has at least one answer option and every option leads to another node.
2. Click Publish in the top bar of the Tree Editor. Certorix assigns a content hash and the tree becomes live.
3. Embed or share – go to the Widget Generator to get embed code or a shareable link.

Unpublishing a tree

Open the tree in the editor and click Unpublish. The tree goes back to Draft. Existing sessions complete on the version customers already loaded; new sessions cannot start.

Editing a published tree: You can edit a published tree at any time. Changes save and go live on the next save.
