Node types explained

Each block on the canvas is a different type of step.

  • Question – Asks the customer a question with fixed answer options. Each option leads to the next node.
  • Input – Collects free-text input (serial numbers, error codes, descriptions).
  • Info – Displays a message or image without asking a question. Customer presses 'Continue'.
  • Condition – Automatically routes customers based on previous answers.
  • Solution – Ends a successful diagnostic path. Shows resolution text and optional links.
  • Jump – Links the current tree seamlessly into another tree. Reuse common sub-flows.
  • Result – Similar to Solution. Can display a certified fact card with the VNT seal.

Start simple: A basic working tree only needs Question and Solution nodes.
