Add to Freshdesk
Embed the widget on your Freshdesk new-ticket page to guide customers through self-service troubleshooting before they submit a ticket.
Steps
- Connect Freshdesk – go to Freshdesk Config and enter your API key and subdomain.
- Open the Widget Generator – click Widget in the sidebar. Select the Freshdesk Portal tab.
- Configure routing rules (optional) – conditional rules to show different trees based on ticket subject.
- Configure field mapping (optional) – map widget data to Freshdesk custom fields.
- Generate and copy the code – paste into Freshdesk: Admin → Portals → Customise → New Ticket page → Custom HTML/JS.
When a customer still needs help, the widget creates a Freshdesk ticket automatically — pre-filled with the full Q&A transcript, session ID, and tree ID.
