Widget trigger: On page load

Select On page load in the Widget Generator to make the widget open automatically when your webpage finishes loading.

Use cases

• Knowledge base pages where customers arrive looking for help.
• Product troubleshooting pages.
• Support portals where immediate assistance is expected.
• Internal tools where agents need quick access to diagnostic trees.

Configuration options

• Delay (seconds) – Wait X seconds before opening the widget (default: 0).
• Open once per session – If enabled, the widget opens only the first time a customer visits the page during their session.
• Close after diagnostic completes – If enabled, the widget automatically closes when the tree ends or the customer reaches a solution.

Customer experience

The widget panel slides or fades in automatically. Customers see the entry tree's first node immediately. They can close the widget manually using the 'X' button.
