Soft delete vs permanent delete

Created by Certorix Online, Modified on Mon, 4 May at 9:14 PM by Certorix Online

Soft delete behavior

When you delete a tree or a fact, it is soft-deleted — meaning it is moved to trash but not immediately removed from the database.

  • Soft-deleted trees/facts do not appear in the main lists
  • They do not count toward your plan limits
  • They are not accessible to customers or the AI

To permanently delete:

  1. Go to the trash section (link at bottom of Trees or Facts list)
  2. Find the deleted item
  3. Click Delete permanently

There is no recovery after permanent deletion.
