Using Info nodes effectively
An Info node displays a message, instructions, or an image without asking a question. The customer clicks 'Continue' to proceed.
When to use Info nodes
- Before a complex step that needs explanation (e.g., 'Please locate the reset button on the back of your device')
- To show a diagram, photo, or video (embed using Markdown or HTML)
- To display a warning or important notice (e.g., 'This action will delete all data')
- To provide a summary before the customer reaches the final Solution
Configuration
- Content – The message to display. Supports Markdown for formatting, links, and images.
- Button label – Optional custom text for the 'Continue' button (default is 'Continue').
Best practices
- Keep Info nodes concise. Customers prefer scanning over reading long paragraphs.
- Use images (URLs) when a diagram explains better than text.
- Do not put critical questions inside Info nodes — customers may click through without reading.
